Tofino 2013

Once again I was fortunate enough to be invited by Quiksilver out to Tofino, BC for a few days of SUP Surfing and talking “shop”.
With the van loaded up with all types of boards – it was off on the somewhat long drive out.
Being a person who actually enjoys driving – I tend to take the road less travelled.  Instead of heading to Vancouver and then over – the trip went via Jasper / Kamloops / Lillooet / Pemberton / ferry crossing to Nanimo and then the final drive to Tofino.  The route is shorter, but takes about the same amount of time as the roads are much “twister”.
Once in  Tofino it was your typical surf trip – get up, eat, surf, eat, surf, hot tub, eat, sleep, and repeat.

The swell wass up and the surf was great.  A little windy and rainy at times – but nothing worth stopping for.

Thank you to Quiksilver for caring about the sports and continuing to do this for its dealers.

This is the "proper" amount of boards for any Stand Up Paddle trip!

Should be enough boards for everyone.
