It seems like this race event might just be jinxed – weather wise.
The2nd Annual Easy Rider Battle of Telford Lake SUP Race – saw less than idea conditions with wind / cold and rain, but that didn’t stop 30 paddlers from coming out and having a good time.
The event featured a “M” shaped course of 1 km per lap.
The Open class did 2 laps while the Elite class did 4.
Despite the weather – a good time was had by all. The BBQ was THE place to hang out after the event – if not for the food – then just to try and stay warm.
Thank you to the volunteers that helped out – and of course to the paddlers that proved you don’t need a beautiful sunny day to have a good time on the water.
