Starboard presents the - 11th Annual Easy Rider SUP Cup
August 18 & 19, 2018

Saturday, August 18
Stand Up Paddleboard Race & Tour on the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton.
Race is approximately 17 km.               Touring class will be approximately 9 km.

BBQ / Race Trophies and Draw Prizes will be handed out at the end of the Race.

FREE Shuttle service provided to Pre-Registered  Race and Tour paddlers.

Sunday, August 19
SUP Polo at Hermitage Park Lake
SUP Polo will consist of Teams of 3 people.
Awards will follow at the end of SUP Polo.

Each event is $30. Cash Only.
Tons of draw prizes.
All ability levels.

Must have your own Board / Paddle / Leash / Whistle and PFD – for the Race and Tour.
Boards and paddles will be provided for the SUP Polo.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR SHUTTLE SERVICE IS Monday, AUGUST 13, 2018
After August 13 – you will be on your own for getting to the Race and Tour start, and back from the finish.

We are STOKED to be hosting our 9th Annual Devon to Edmonton (Laurier Park) Stand Up Paddle River Trek.

We meet at Laurier Park in Edmonton – shuttle you and your board out to Devon and paddle the 34 km back to Edmonton.
Total time on the water ranges from 4.5 to 5.5 hours.
All Paddlers must have some SUP experience and be willing and able to paddle the full distance.

Cost is $30. per person (cash only), and will include shuttle service for you and your board.

You MUST pre-register – in store – no later than July 10 to be eligible for the shuttle service.

You must have your own board / paddle / leash / whistle and PFD to take part.

Sunday, June 3, 2018 is the Annual Battle of Telford Lake Stand Up Paddleboard Race.

This event is a short course style race with multiple laps around a buoy marked course.

Registration is now OPEN at the store.
(Please register at the store in advance if possible – it makes it easier for us to plan the event)
Registration is $20. – The Kids race is $10.  Both are Cash Only.

The Elite Class Race will be 5 laps of the course, and the Open Class Race will be 3 laps.
Our famous ”Joker Lap” – where you will be able to “Short Cut” the course on one of your laps will also be featured again.
Which lap you choose to take the Joker Lap on is up to you, but you may only take it one time.
The Kids Race will be 2 laps of a shortened course and will take place between the Open and Elite races.

Board Classes within the Elite and Open races will be as follows:
Race 14′ (any “pointy” style board over 12’6″)
Race 12’6″ (any “pointy” style board  12’6″ and under)
Surfboard (any round nose shape board up to 12’6″)
Inflatable (any inflatable board)
